Alone, as a couple or in larger groups, birding in Petoskey and the surrounding areas is an incredibly popular activity. Efforts are currently underway to develop a “Tip of the Mitt” birding trail.  Until that becomes a reality, we recommend the following regions for watching and thank the Petoskey Regional Audubon Society for being a contact for those wishing to take part in this experience and providing much of the information within.  Birders are encouraged to post their photographic bird viewings on our Facebook page and tweet about it, too!
