Fall means one more reason to have fun in Boyne City!
This family fun day will include music, crafts, children’s activities, food and fall produce in the downtown area from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. As the extended Boyne City Farmers Market will be moved downtown from Veteran’s Park, portions of Water and Lake Streets will be closed to traffic.
Free hayrides will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Musical performers, including Don Rivers and Friends, Spectrum, Northern Nites, Dan Farrow, Wyatt and Shari Knapp and the Tribe of Chiefs will be featured from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Balloon artist Twister Joe will be making an appearance, and scarecrows will be lining the streets. The Boyne District Library will be debuting the new bookmobile during downtown during the festival.
There will be children’s games and activities, including pumpkin painting and face painting, throughout town. Local churches and non-profit organizations that would like to participate by organizing children's activities or harvest crafts are encouraged to contact the Boyne Area Chamber to find out how to get a free booth.
The festival is supported by Boyne City Main Street and the Boyne Area Chamber.
