Blissfest Music Organization

Blissfest Music Organization has been serving Emmet County for 40+ years. Its mission is to preserve traditions and promote innovators of American and world music, arts, and sustainable living through performance, education, and community participation. The primary event is a 3-day folk & roots music festival, which draws 5,000 festival-goers of all ages, and approximately 120 musical acts performing across eight stages. All located on Blissfest’s beautiful 200+ acre festival farm.

Year-round efforts include: a multi-season concert series with touring artists; singer-songwriter coffee-house style performances and a house concert series; busker booking services for area farmers markets and downtown events: monthly family dances with live music and dance callers: an internet radio station; workshop; school presentations; music scholarships; and various collaborations.
