Hayrides offered throughout October.  Rides last about 30 minutes and take you on a scenic trail to see the fall colors.  Have a glass of apple cider and get a pumpkin to take home at the end.

BOYNE scenic chairlift rides offer a special experience for those less apt to strap on snow skis or a board to hit the slopes during the winter season. The panoramic views of the colorful leaves, blue waters, and the lush green grounds make for a beautiful backdrop to any summer or fall vacation.  Boyne Highlands in Harbor Springs offers rides on Thursday and Fridays: 4pm - 8pm, Saturdays: 12pm - 7pm and Sundays: 10pm - 3pm.

Guided Trail Rides

Explore the vast mountainous terrain and make a new equine friend!  Trail rides begin from the new Birchwood Farms at Boyne Highlands equestrian facilities and cover the resort's 4,000+ acres. The wooded trails have been gently cut through natural vegetation and are exclusive to riders on horseback.  One hour rides are available. 

Trail riders are advised to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.  Athletic shoes are acceptable but a leather shoe with a heel is best.  Each rider is required to wear a helmet which will be provided.  Riders wearing shorts and/or sandals may be asked to reschedule.

Pony Rides

For children not yet old enough to guide a horse on their own, we offer pony rides for ages 8 and under.  We'll hoist your young ones into the saddle and they can experience a true ride as handlers escort the horse for a gentle walk through the pasture near the resort's equestrian facilities.

Enjoy a half hour scenic flight around Little Traverse Bay on your way to jump altitude....2 miles above the earth! Safely strapped to your experienced tandem instructor, you'll jump over the Harbor Springs coastline. After 40 seconds of freefall, the parachute opens and you'll have a peaceful 5 minute canopy ride back to the land area. What a rush! An accelerated freefall program is available in addition to the tandem dives.

Everyone should do this at least once in a lifetime!  Champagne Adventure flights are offered at sunrise and sunset each day. 2010 Summer Season Dinner Theatre - Shows every Monday - Saturday with the summer season's final performance on August 23.

Dinner includes appetizers, salad, fresh baked rolls, a choice of three entrees served with dill potatoes and steamed vegetables and a delicious chocolate dessert.  Cash bar and appetizers begin at 6:30 p.m.  Reservations are required.
