Are you ready for a fun and relaxing time in the Petoskey Area? If you love craft beers and cocktails, or local wines, this is the place to be. The Petoskey Area is home to over a dozen wineries, along with a handful of breweries and distilleries, all with their own unique appeal. If you have a taste for something different, maybe you’ll want to try one of the distilleries that have opened in the last couple of years.

Wineries

20 years ago, there was one winery in the Petoskey Area. Wow, has that changed! With the introduction of new, cold hardy grapes, this region is thriving with award-winning wines with distinctively delicious tones – many made by people who changed their course in life to pursue a dream. And the flavors don’t stop with grapes; be sure to try some peach or even maple wine.

You’ll feel welcome at the intimate venues in Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix and Alanson. These are mostly family-owned locations, many with panoramic views of Petoskey’s hills and surrounding lakes. Let these wine experts introduce you to some of their specialties while pouring on the hospitality, too.

This year, some of our wineries have chosen to offer tastings by reservation only. Get all the information you need to enjoy your visit to the Petoskey Wine Region (part of the state’s newest American Viticultural Area or AVA) by visiting Petoskey.Wine. Breweries

For a delicious Michigan brew, check us out. Our breweries are where you can drink in the best of the Petoskey Area. Have a glass or two crafted by people who are as passionate about making it as you are about enjoying it. As a bonus, three of our breweries share their locations with wineries, so you can double your pleasure!

Distilleries

Still looking for something a little different? A visit to a local distillery will put you in high spirits (bad pun — sorry, couldn’t help it). From vodka, gin and rum to whisky, brandy and liqueurs, drinks crafted in northern Michigan are nothing short of amazing. Be sure to put our tasting rooms on your agenda.

Tours

Leave the driving to us. Several tour companies let you sip, savor and delight in the tastes of the region without the concern of getting behind the wheel. So, grab your family and friends and let us transport you on a flavorful adventure.

Be sure to plan ahead. Please call ahead to make reservations or to confirm hours of operation. We don’t want you to be disappointed if tours and spaces are at capacity.
