Raven Hill Discovery Center (www.MiRavenHill.org) is now open safely and following state pandemic guidelines. Visitors will be asked to mask and socially distance indoors and numbers will be limited. The indoors will be unique “eyes-only” exhibits with minimal hands-on activities.
In addition to the Music Garden, Jurassic Park walkway, Schoolhouse, Treehouse, Ancient World and other existing outdoor exhibits, a new Connections Trail with 40 learning stations is being installed outside, so visitors can enjoy more hands-on science, history & art activities in an open-air setting.
Raven Hill will host an exhibit, Labor Days: A History of Work, in collaboration with the Smithsonian from August 14 to September 30. Labor Days will be open daily 10am to 4pm. The Center is one of ten sites in the entire United States selected to participate in this Smithsonian pilot project about the local history of work.
Raven Hill is open weekends year-round: Saturday 12pm - 4pm, Sunday 2pm - 4pm. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, Center hours expand to include weekdays as well: 10 am to 4 pm daily. The Center is always by appointment.
