Wineries
Okay, it’s not quite Napa. But the west coast of northern Michigan grows cold, hardy grapes that the west coast of California just can’t match. They’re not just distinctively delicious, they’re award-winners in one competition after another. Many are crafted by people who came here to pursue a dream. You can taste the pride and dedication in every glass they pour.
Wineries and tours are available in Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix and Alanson. These are mostly family-owned locations, with panoramic views of the area’s hills and lakes. Let our local wine experts introduce you to some of their specialties.

Delicious as they are, sometimes a cold brew or glass of vino simply doesn’t hit the spot. Worry not. Whatever you have in mind, our distilleries have available. From vodka, gin and rum, to whisky, brandy and liqueurs, drinks crafted in northern Michigan are nothing short of amazing. Be sure to put our tasting rooms on your agenda.
